I think I fell in love with [writing] when I was in elementary school, not really sure of the age.

[When I complete a project there is a feeling of] satisfaction, relief, then a form of sadness that it’s done. You’re happy that you completed the project but it’s kinda bittersweet because you wonder if it’s truly it.


I’m always scared to share my work. Writing is very intimate for me. I’m literally pouring my mind and soul into my work. Foolish pride is what allows me to share because it allows me to believe that my voice is important.


[For people debating sharing their work], waiting for the perfect moment to start, simply do it. No one has your voice and it’s worthy to be shared. Do not be afraid to fail either. It’s a learning experience for the next time.
