I was inspired by my mother who is a strong black woman. [She] worked her ass off so me and my siblings could have a better life. She would not allow the downfalls and shortcomings of my father
to stop her from giving us the best life she could and she accomplished that.
My message to those who would like to follow in my footsteps, [and start a business] is to accept your failures as learning lessons, and believe in yourself first because if you don't, how can anyone else believe in you? The most important tool that helped me was to just jump into it and apply the same determination from the companies I worked with to my own business.
